Heliwest has experienced media pilots who know that time is money in the air and can get your photographer or cameraman in position quickly and efficiently.

An ability to interpret the shot requirements from experience and careful pre-shoot questioning has enabled Heliwest to be the company of choice for many local, interstate and international media companies.

Evidence of this was Heliwest was the only non Red Bull Air Race helicopter invited to offer aerial platform services for the entire 2007 world series after successful participation in the 2006 series here in Perth.

Having seen a market for more affordable camera mounts Heliwest developed a 3 axis gyro-stabilized side mount for filming. This has been successfully used by IMG and Sauce films in Television productions and offers an alternative to Eastern States based camera mount systems.
Low level flight and cameraman harness approvals are in place with CASA.
