Heliwest Engineering

With 150 years of accrued experience in the helicopter and fixed wing industry our engineers combine to make an incredibly useful resource of knowledge and skill, in order to provide safe and effective engineering to the Heliwest Group and its external clients.

Our licence coverage for certification covers an extensive range of aircraft and specific type systems and engine installations. Currently we employ eight licensed engineers and three apprentices.

Our licence coverage details are as follows:

Helicopter and fixed wing airframe categories including hydraulics, air-conditioning and composite structures.

All piston engine categories relating to helicopter and fixed wing installations.

Specific turbine engine type including Ariel, Artouste, Turmo, Lycoming LTS 101/T53, P&W PT6T.

Specific airframe manufactures qualifications covering Bell 204 Bell 205 Bell 212 Bell 412 and Sikorsky S76.

Robinson R44/R22 and Robinson component overhaul.

The company has a large supply of spare parts for Bell and Eurocopter on site which allows for minimal downtime of our aircraft. The engineers are assisted by a technical records officer utilising the web based Aerotrack systems and two fulltime storemen. Both Robinson and Bell spare parts can be ordered through Heli Parts.
